Those who work and live in Mirpur enjoy a lot of benefits. The area is very affordable, it has many places to visit, and yes, it is one of the most accessible areas in Dhaka city. So much so, that a person can sometimes feel that all roads lead to Mirpur. That feeling isn’t entirely wrong. Students from both within and without Mirpur attend these institutions, and the transportation system has been a blessing for them.

The residents of Mirpur can take the Kalshi road to travel to Uttara or the Ibrahimpur road to get to Banani and Gulshan. There’s also the Darus Salaam road or Begum Rokeya Avenue that connects to Dhanmondi and other parts of the city. The recent Mirpur flyover has tremendously eased the traffic concern for residents on the far side of Mirpur. Travellers won’t have to worry about public transportation either, given multiple buses run on each route. You won’t have to wait more than 10 minutes to find a bus to take you to your destination.  No wonder people who live in Mirpur are always singing praises of the area.

Also, if you are travelling north, out of the city, it is the quickest junction to leave from and arrive in Dhaka. As for intercity travel, the Bishwa road and the newly developed flyovers connect Uttara to the Banani, Mirpur and Badda areas.
