Bproperty has won Bronze in the Best Content Marketing category in the Digital Marketing Awards 2020, hosted by Bangladesh Brand Forum. This award was the culmination of years of hard work and dedication from our marketing team, which resulted in the creation of Tarar Bari, the web series for which we won this prestigious award. While competing for this award, Bproperty had to contend with stiff competition, and had to stand out from a strong lineup of entries. In today’s article, we will look more closely at Bproperty’s Digital Marketing Award win.

The Digital Marketing Awards

Bangladesh Brand Forum started the Digital Marketing Summit in 2014 to recognize the hard work done by digital marketing professionals, and to empower digital marketing agencies so that they create more beautiful and brilliant work. It was renamed the Digital Marketing Awards in 2017, and has been held every year since. This year’s Digital Marketing Awards was the 4th edition of the event, and received more than 650 nominations for 16 different categories. Out of these 650 nominations, 78 nominations received awards. And Bproperty was amongst the recipients, winning Bronze in the Best Content Marketing category, for its show Tarar Bari, which features the lives and the homes of numerous celebrities in Bangladesh. The fact that Tarar Bari had competed with so many other illustrious digital campaigns from some of Bangladesh’s best digital marketing agencies makes Bproperty’s Digital Marketing Award win more significant.

Here at Bproperty, we wanted to break the mold of our identity as just being a real estate brand, and wanted to establish Bproperty as a lifestyle brand. One of the first steps taken towards that was creating a YouTube channel. And from that, came Tarar Bari. The idea behind Bproperty Tarar Bari was simple. It was to let people know of their most favorite celebrity’s lifestyle, and also to look at the homes that they live in. The show has had two seasons, and featured some of Bangladesh’s most popular celebrities, including Bappa Mazumder, Fahmida Nabi, Sabila Nur, Bidya Sinha Mim, Chanchal Chowdhury, and Tahsan Rahman Khan. It ended up being a huge hit with the viewers, and helped Bproperty’s YouTube channel get the coveted YouTube Silver Play Button. It also was the reason behind Bproperty’s Digital Marketing Award Win.

With the awards normally dominated by digital marketing agencies, it’s difficult for in-house marketing campaigns by companies to get proper recognition. But Bproperty Tarar Bari isn’t your average marketing campaign. The web series was very popular with viewers, on all social media platforms, including Facebook and YouTube.

The series has amassed over 3.36 million views on Facebook and 11.5 million views on YouTube. It has also greatly boosted Bproperty’s brand image, with over 116 million impressions on YouTube and 10.5 million impressions on Facebook. There was also a high amount of engagement with viewers, with over 11 thousand comments on YouTube and 196 thousand engagements on Facebook.

Not only has this helped endear Bproperty to the masses, but it has also enabled Bproperty’s lifestyle oriented YouTube channel to gain more than 100,000 subscribers, earning it the coveted YouTube Silver Play Button.
