Not just fire hazards, fire stations respond to all sorts of accidents. They are the foremost authority when it comes to preventing fire outbreaks and tackling the aftermath of road accidents. Siddique Bazar Fire service and Civil Defense Station
This one is also the Fire Service and Civil Defense Head Quarter in Bangladesh. It falls under the Dhaka South City Corporation. They record every incident that happens inside the city and regularly provide other fire stations in Dhaka with equipment and enforcement when needed.

Unlike other fire stations, this one is not particularly stationary. Although it operates from the land, Sadarghat Nodi has a moving fire station in the Buriganga River. It provides services to all the establishments situated on either side of the Buriganga River and the dockyards located in the area.

Currently, these are the working fire stations in Dhaka. However, a few fire service stations are also proposed to be built in different parts of Dhaka including the Vashantek, and near the Tenari area in Savar.
