The month of Ramadan is coming to an end and Eid is knocking at the door. Everyone is either busy at home or at the office. Eid vacation will start in a few days. Who doesn’t want to make sure that everything is well placed? Time flies by when it’s Eid. You probably have come up with a plan for Eid decoration already. After you’re done, put all the unnecessary things in your storeroom. If you want, you can repaint some of your furniture which might bring some newness in your interior.

This is because you’re likely to spend the majority of your time here, whether it be watching TV with your family, or to talk over a cup of tea or simply just to entertain guests. You don’t have to do much; just change the covers of your sofa and throw pillows.You could even spread a carpet or a rug on the floor. Hanging the flowers in your vase and placing them all over the house, or to keep potted plants; these small changes will transform the look of your home.

After fasting for thirty days, we look forward to having a feast on Eid day. The morning starts with mother’s homemade Firni, Jorda and Shemai following with Chotpoti, Pudding and Barfi. For lunch, the usual menu is Polau, Chicken Roast or Biriyani. At night, fried rice and chow mein. All these food required pre planned grocery shopping. It’s best to do it earlier because later you may not find your preferred ingredients. That’s why, head out to your nearest supershops now!

It’s normal to not being able to find time for yourself amidst all the work. It’s important to focus on a little bit of self-care. However, it’s best not to visit any beauty parlor right before Eid since it might be crowded and because of that, the quality of their services may not be up to the mark. So, it’s better not to take a risk before such a special occasion.

You can pick up some self-care bits at your home. Make a face mask with lentil, milk and honey. You can even do your manicure and pedicure at home! Add two spoonfuls of shampoo and keep your feet drenched for half an hour. Afterwards, cut slices of lemon and rub it on your hands and feet. Also, don’t forget to apply henna on your hand on Chaand raat! Moreover, you can make a protein pack for your hair. How? Mix sour yogurt with an egg white, Mehendi and tea leaves. Keep your hair tied up for two to three hours, then wash it off. The end result will be healthy, shiny hair.
