LankaBangla Finance started its business as a joint venture multi-product Financial Institution in Bangladesh in 1997 with a license from Bangladesh Bank under the Financial Institutions Act 1993. The shareholding of LankaBangla consists of Commercial Banks, Corporates, Prominent Industrialists, Foreign sponsors and the General public.

Apart from our usual presence in Corporate, Retail and SME Financial services, LankaBangla is the lone Non-Banking Financial Institution who operates MasterCard and VISA Credit Cards including third party cards processing services for other banks. The Company is also actively involved in the Capital market at both DSE & CSE through its subsidiary LankaBangla Securities Limited, rated as the number one in the market. We are also providing investment banking services through our subsidiaries LankaBangla Investments Limited and LankaBangla Asset Management Company Limited. Under Retail Financial Services we offer Home Loan, Auto Loan, Personal Loan, Credit cards and various deposit schemes.

eligibility criteria

- Minimum age at the time of loan application is 21 for Primary Borrower, Co-Borrower and Co-Applicant

- Maximum age at the end of the loan tenure is 70 for salaried individuals and 65/70 for others

Minimum experience :

- Salaried individual: 2 years of service length, having transaction for at least 1 year with any scheduled bank

- Self-employed professional: 2 years of experience, having transaction for at least 1 year with any scheduled bank

- Businessperson: 3 years of experience in related field/areas with 5 years of business experience in total

- Contractual employees: Subjective to customer profile and strength

- Landlord/Landlady: Stable income from the rented premise(s)


Minimum income :

- Govt. employees: BDT 40,000

- Salaried individuals: BDT 40,000

- Professionals: BDT 40,000

- Businesspersons: BDT 50,000

- Landlord/Landlady: BDT 40,000
