FolkFest is a yearly event that has been held at Bangladesh Army Stadium from the very first show. The event has been graced by over 500 artists from 17 countries making it the largest FolkFest in Asia. In this event, artists from different cultural backgrounds come together to celebrate the sheer brilliance of folk music and perform on a single stage. Dhaka Lit Fest

Literature is a strong, if not the strongest, cultural heritage that we are proud of. All the greats of modern literature, – Madhusudan Dutta to Rabindranath Tagore, the modernist poets of both West and East Bengal – were the ardent lovers of western and oriental literature. With that in mind, the mission of Dhaka Lit Fest is to celebrate the spirit of cosmopolitan modernism.
Dhaka Lit Fest has been held in the heart of the bustling metropolis, shaded by an enormous banyan tree amid Dhaka University since 2012. The event is mainly focused on literature but also embraces a wide range of topics including fiction and literary non-fiction to history, politics and society, poetry and translations, science and mathematics, and philosophy and religion. About 400 participants representing over 50 countries have been part of DLF.

The Haunted Halloween Weekend

If you are exhausted from day to day life and want pure fun, come to this event. Hosted by Dhaka Comicon, this three-day event will take you back to your childhood. Remember your overly enthusiastic self who would become restless just by thinking of getting ready for any kind of cosplay event or party? You will meet that little self there.
At this Halloween event, you will get to meet cosplayers, listen to great music, get lost within the endless confines of a maze, share stories about your ‘encounters with the ghouls’ and in general, be a part of monster madness! So do go and have some fun.
Anime Expo Bangladesh 2019

Most probably no other community in the world is as active or connected as the anime or manga fandom. The bond exceeded the country barrier a long time ago. Every year in most countries, the anime community arranges multiple expeditions to disseminate the joy and culture of this amazing art.
Anime Expo Bangladesh 2019 is one such event to bring the community together in one place and makes it stronger. If you are a lifelong devotee of ‘kawaii’ characters and using the word ‘sugoi’ instead of awesome is the norm for you, you will feel at home here. Bicycle Show 2019 (4th Edition)

Bicycling had never been as popular or convenient as it is today. The bicycle industry has experienced a tremendous growth in the last couple of years, with two reasons considered to be aiding the surge in demand.
The first one being the convenience that bicycles have over any other vehicle. On top of that, bicycles provide quick and easy ways around the unbearable traffic jams in busy areas. The other reason is the rise of some community groups, specially BDCyclists, that have contributed immensely to popularise the bicycling trends among youngsters.
In effect of this surge in demand, events like Bicycle Show have been organized for the last three years. Like every year, this year’s IAB Building Material & Technology Exposition 2019 will set forth with the forthcoming ARCASIA Forum 20 – the largest annual gathering of Asian architects to be held at Dhaka and will be hosted by the Institute of Architects Bangladesh.
Architects across 22 asian countries have been invited and will join the conference. Not only that, Architects, Engineers, Real Estate Construction Firms and students of architecture from all over Bangladesh will also attend the event.
