Bioscope 3 Children’s Photography Fest 2019

‘Shishuder Jonno Foundation’ has yet again arranged one of the largest children’s photography festival in Bangladesh. Children of ages between 13-18 are in one group and the other group consists of people aged between 18-25. The most fun part about this competition is that the pictures on the exhibition will be up for sale; of which half the commissions will go to Shishuder Jonno Foundation and the rest will be up to the artist. Show up to the event to get amazed by the little artists’ creativity and in the meantime, take a few pictures home for decorative purposes and support your local artists!
Ckro Cittro International Photo Festival

This exhibition will take place for three consecutive days where many local artists, as well as international artists, are going to portray their works. Arnob Unplugged 2019

Joy Bangla Concert 2019

This is the one of the coolest events in March for all the music-lovers out there! Joy Bangla Concert is one of the biggest rock ’n’ roll entertainment events in Bangladesh that takes place every year on the very same day of the historic 7th March speech of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The event is organized every year by a non profit organization called Young Bangla. Last year, noteworthy bands like Shunno, Artcell, Lalon, Chirkut, Arbovirus, Nemesis and many others performed at the Joy Bangla Concert. Going to this concert is one of the best things you can do in March. What better way to celebrate our Independence day?
Salsa Sunday Nights

Now this is not the kind of events that we often see in Dhaka. Salsa nights are slowly popularizing among locals. Previously, Gourmet Bazaar hosted a few salsa nights and the crowd response was amazing, really. The trend is taking on gradually and we are glad that it is! Put on your dancing shoes and show up with your loved ones at the event for an evening of dancing and good food. Entry is absolutely free and you can do many popular forms of dancing such as Salsa, Rueda, Bachata and Merengue. Dhaka K-Meet 4.0

Dhaka K-Meet is the biggest event for Korean pop culture lovers. It is only held annually which makes it one of the most anticipated events in March; and this time, it’s happening for the fourth time in Bangladesh in a bigger, grandeur manner. K-Meet has been happening consecutively in the past three years. Because of this, K-pop lovers can rejoice together in a shared platform where they can connect based on their mutual interests and experience the culture more openly. In this event, there will be a range of things carried out. For instance, there will be stalls available where you can find Korean cosmetics and food items. Moreover, there will be dance performances and live music sessions. The entry fee is only BDT 200 and can be purchased on location.
