For most of the youth in Dhaka, a hangout plan with friends tends to begin and end at a food place. That’s bound to get boring, right? And not just that, decreasing digits on your bank account and increasing digits on the scale are all the more reasons to avoid restaurants as your go-to hangout place. The thing is, there are plenty of entertainment centers in Dhaka. And we are not even talking about the most obvious ones like going to the movies, amusement parks, concerts or festivals! Here are some activities that should make your next outing with friends a lot more fun.

Laserwars

A very popular activity in the west, laser tag first came to Bangladesh in 2016. And over time, this has become one of the most popular fun activities for many people. From celebrating birthdays, spending a fun day with your colleagues or just targeting your friends with laser rays, laser tag will definitely get your adrenaline pumping. And one of the most popular laser tag entertainment centers in Dhaka is Laserwars. Five friends started Laserwars with a dream to create the best laser tag experience in Bangladesh. Before starting their venture they toured and learned from as many Lasertag arenas worldwide as they could. Situated in Gulshan 2 Chef’s Table, Level 2, Laserwars is open from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. everyday. And you would need a minimum of 4 people to enjoy a round of Lasertag. The pricing for each game ranges from 350 BDT to 700 BDT.

Another fun game that you can play with your friends and family is paintball. Paintball is a team shooting sport in which players eliminate opponents from the game by hitting them with dye-filled gelatin guns called paintballs that pop when hit with full force. And where to go for a fun round of paintball in Dhaka you ask? Ground Zero BD is the place to be. Located in Abdus Sobhan Dhali road, Ground Zero BD is the country’s first ever paintball zone. Just like other entertainment centers in Dhaka, you can spend a fun afternoon with your loved ones here everyday of the week. Ground Zero BD operates from 3:00 pm. To 7:00 p.m.

As these entertainment centers in Dhaka are gaining popularity with each day, people now often prefer to spend a fun day with their friends and family here than spending time in a restaurant. Dhaka life doesn’t have to be confined within the four walls of a restaurant anymore. Popular resorts in Gazipur, a nice trip to Cox’s Bazar are more options for you to enjoy some fun time with your loved ones. So next time when you are planning a hangout with your friends, do consider these aforementioned places for a different and exciting experience.
